Making A Purchase
Making a purchase and payment could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
Payment
i).Payment can be made by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta). All payments will be authorised by the relevant card issuer before any goods are dispatched. The transaction will show as a payment to DSWF Trading Company Limited.
ii). The Total To Pay figure includes carriage costs to anywhere in the UK mainland for retail. For delivery outside of the UK we will contact you prior to processing you credit/debit card to agree the delivery costs. Trade customers must complete the delivery page found in the Trade Section before submitting an order.
iii). Due to ever increasing credit facilitating costs, DSWF have now introduced a 2% charge on all Mastercard/Visa transactions. (Our annual credit card costs would keep one of our projects alive for up to six months. We hope our supporters will understand that every penny saved in this way will help us in our fight to save wildlife.) At present our online shopping system can not apply this charge when calculating the total cost. It will be added to the order value shown on the confirmation email prior to card authorisation, as we process your order. This charge will also apply on telephone orders.
Delivery Schedule
i). Once your payment has been authorised we aim to despatch your goods within 14 days of receipt of order, but please allow up to 28 days at busy times of the year. Delivery to customers outside the UK may take longer.
ii). If an item is out of stock we will contact you to advise you of the options.

Tax Charges
The buyer (ie. you) is responsible for paying all taxes and duties for goods supplied outside of the EU.
All prices include VAT at the standard rate and is applicable to all UK/EU customers. For any purchases paid for outside of the EU no VAT will be applied.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
All credit/debit card transactions are handled by a fully certificated secure server, provided by Actinic.

Privacy Policy and Subject Information Statement
The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and DSWF Trading Company Limited (together "the Foundation") process your personal data (as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998 ("the Act") for purposes of achieving the charitable objectives of the Foundation, fundraising, administering the Foundation's international activities and undertaking marketing and trading activities in relation to the Foundation's aims. The marketing we undertake does include email marketing.
Due to the international nature of the Foundation's operations your personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area where data protection laws may not offer the same level of protection as in Europe.
Due to the nature of the Internet it is possible that the personal data that you disclose on the Foundation website may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area.
The Foundation does not sell your personal data to other organisations and transfer of your personal data will not occur unless such transfers are permitted under the Act or other law.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. Returns Policy
Exchanges,Returns & Refunds
Our aim is to operate a simple, straightforward approach to returns, refunds and exchanges and be as helpful as possible in trying to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
1. Exchanges & Returns
i). If any item(s) you purchase from us is faulty or damaged when you receive it we will arrange for the item(s) to be replaced (if you do not contact us within 48 hours we reserve the right not to replace the item.) We will require you to return the faulty item, within 7 days, for which we will reimburse postage costs once we have received the faulty item.
ii). In the unlikely event that we send you the wrong item you will need to notify us within 48 hours and we will arrange for the correct item to be dispatched by return and make arrangements for the collection of the wrong item.
iii). If you find that the item(s) you have ordered is not what you wanted we will consider exchanging the item(s) for other goods, subject to the item(s) being unused, in their original packaging and undamaged. Replacements will only be sent after the original item(s) have been returned, received at The DSWF Trading Co offices and checked. You will be responsible for all postage costs.
2. Refunds
We will consider refunds in certain circumstances, eg. goods ordered and supplied correctly but not required and no replacement wanted. You will need to contact The DSWF Trading Co offices either by phone on 01483 267924 or by email to onlinesales@dswftrading.co.uk
Your statutory rights are not affected.
