Born on Romney Marsh in Kent, Paul has studied wildlife
from an early age. His early exhibitions featured paintings
and drawings as well as glass engravings. As a result
of early success, Paul turned professional in 1987.
Since then his work as a wildlife, equestrian artist
and latterly portrait artist, and popularity worldwide,
has gone from strength to strength. To research his
wildlife work, Paul has visited Africa annually since
his first trip in 1989.
He has demonstrated, taught and lectured on painting
for a number of years, and in that time has made numerous
contributions to magazines and books. Paul's images
were first printed in 1990 and continue to be published
in limited and open editions. His originals are eagerly
bought by collectors around the world and he has had
numerous successful shows in Africa, UK and the USA.
Paul's conservation aspects are deep rooted and he
has worked closely with wildlife charities raising funds
from the sales and auctions of originals and prints.
