David was born in 1959 in Mulanje Malawi and was educated
in the then Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). On leaving school he
worked as a sports teacher until 1983 when he decided
to take up art full time.
He has published three books ; 'The Liwonde National
Park ' , 'Memories of Eden - South Luangwa National
Park ' and 'Malawi Endangered Beauty ' and sold paintings
at previous Christies auction s . From 1993-1998 David
ran his own safari lodge in Liwonde, Malawi but now
lives in Scotland until his daughter has finished her
education when he hopes to return to Africa.
