Mandy trained at London's Byamshaw School
of Art and completed her degree in Brighton.
She then lived and worked in Zambia, South
Africa and Zimbabwe where she had her first solo exhibition
in 1980. In 1996 she headed for the South Atlantic to
write her book 'The Falkland Islands - an Artists Portfolio'.
Commissions for the military have since taken her to
Bosnia, Kosovo, Brunei, Oman, Iraq and Gibraltar, and
to sea with the carriers HMS Invincible, Illustrious
and Ocean.
Her major works include a portrait of
Margaret Thatcher for the Fleet HQ, Portsmouth and commissions
for the Royal Airforce of Oman and The Army Air Corps.
She also remains steadfastly loyal to wildlife, travelling
