Georgina was brought up on a farm in Matabeleland,
Zimbabwe. This and her artistically creative upbringing
made it only natural that she became passionate about
art and interpreting Africa. She majored in sculpture
in South Africa and graduated with distinction in 1995
She is conconetrating mostly on bronze sculpture using
wax and plastercine looking at an animal's particular
characteristics, vitality and personality to determine
what gestural treatment and patination will capture
the actions and tenuousness of the moment best.
She splits her time between UK and home to maintain
connection with the raw essence of the African landscape
which she feels is essential in being able to capture
and portray its wildlife with vitality and personality.
Georgina has exhibited amongst others at Society of
Wildlfie Art and wityh Christies Wildlife Auctions.
She is represented by an American gallery as well as
undertaking private commissions for clients around the
world.
