Emily Lamb (Born 1985)

Emily LambEmily is David Shepherd's eldest granddaughter. From a very early age she showed signs of artistic talent and went on to achieve high grades in art and textiles at GCSE and A' level. She gained an unconditional place at both St Martin's in London and Falmouth for Foundation Studies, but on leaving school she took a gap year, travelling through southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Emily then attended Falmouth University Art College for her Foundation Course and having secured a place at Charles Cecil School in Florence began her studies at their associated Lavender Hill Studios in London where she continues to study.

Emily has supported DSWF's Art for Survival Programme donating paintings for various fundraising exhibitions and auctions, and also supports several other conservation initiatives.

Emily spent January/February in Southern Africa painting and gathering reference for Three Generations Exhibition in June and then a few weeks in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania before returning to work on commissions and her next exhibitions 'Naked for Wildlife' at Mews Gallery, 10-11 Lancaster Court, Mayfair 24-29 November and then Three Generations Exhibition at the Mall Galleries 24-29 May 2010.
